This project envisions a transformative digital extension for the Antiken Museum Basel, aiming to infuse its permanent collection with contemporary discourse and foster dynamic connections between visitors and the museum. Recognizing the importance of relevance and engagement, “Bêta” offers a variety of opportunities for interaction, including lectures, radio broadcasts and workshops, all designed to generate dialogue and participation. At the heart of this innovative approach is the AR guestbook, which seamlessly integrates digital interaction with physical space to enhance the visitor experience. Responding to the museum's imperative for contemporary relevance and public engagement, “Bêta” creates a vibrant and inspiring environment that encourages exploration and connection with antiquity. Through interactive activities and opportunities for dialogue, the platform bridges the gap between past and present, positioning the museum as a dynamic cultural center.
